The client’s primary requirement was to implement accurate and complete Bike Year–Make–Model (YMM) compatibility data across motorcycle component products in their existing OpenCart store.

Standardizing and validating YMM data at this scale was operationally difficult for the client’s internal team, prompting them to engage us for a structured, long-term solution.
We delivered a comprehensive Bike Compatibility Data Management and Catalog Optimization solution, specifically tailored for the client’s OpenCart platform and complex product system.
After completing the project, accurate Year–Make–Model compatibility data was added across approximately six thousand motorcycle component products. Customers were able to easily identify compatible parts for their motorcycles, which reduced confusion during purchase and significantly lowered customer complaints and fitment-related queries. Clear and consistent product information helped customers make confident buying decisions, while improved compatibility accuracy contributed to fewer return and exchange requests. Product titles and URLs were also optimized to improve search visibility and relevance, resulting in an overall improvement in customer trust and the shopping experience. A structured and scalable YMM data process was established to support future catalog growth and updates.
